Crafted over more than fifty hours of meticulous handwork, each LaDorada accent piece reflects the atelier’s devotion to artisanal precision. Colombian straw marquetry — a technique of hand-laid and burnished wheat straw sealed beneath a matte lacquer — creates a surface of quiet geometry and luminous depth.
In the Gold-on-White finish, finely laid straw follows a soft wave pattern inspired by ripples in mountain streams, giving the rounded silhouette gentle movement and light. The gold tones rise subtly from a white backdrop, creating layered warmth and refined radiance.
In its largest scale, the Barichara Vase brings architectural presence to a console, dining table, or pedestal. Intended for decorative display, it may be styled with dried branches or simple stems, or left unfilled to emphasize its sculptural form and tranquil rhythm.
